MEET AMANDA

I'm a true believer in the magic of storytelling and treat each event as a page in your story. Creativity has always been the driving force in my life — whether I’m teaching, writing poetry, diving into interior design, or building custom backdrops from scratch, creating has always been my passion.

A true New Yorker through and through, I was born and raised in Brooklyn and now call Long Island home with my husband, James and our two pups Hades and Skye.

Wander Walls began from being in my bridal era.. shocker! My husband, the most supportive personal carpenter and teammate I could ever ask for, and I built a flower wall for our engagement party and loved the process of creating it. It sparked the idea to start this business and the rest was history. We began with flower walls which evolved into other backdrops and builds tailored to smaller events and evidently entered into the wedding industry, where our love for signage bloomed. We get most excited to create custom builds and love the challenge that it brings. If you have an idea in mind, I promise we can turn the vision into a reality.

When I'm not designing and creating event decor, you can find me spending time with my loved ones, traveling the world any chance I get, wandering bookstores or museums, making homemade pierogies, or curling up on the couch with a new novel. Some of my favorite things? multi flavored popcorn, Taylor Swift's Evermore album, weekend trips to the Catskills, boxing classes, and audio books.
